The CB Inn has an excellent function room facility in a separate wing to the main bar and restaurant, which was opened in May 2005.

The 'Terrace Room' is decked out in oak tables and chairs made by the famous Robert Thompson’s Craftsmen of Kilburn, known as “the Mouseman of Kilburn” and seats up to 70 people. We offer a relaxed and informal environment in which to enjoy superb food set in stunning scenery.

The 'Terrace Room' has an open truss ceiling, making it light and airy and with magnificent views over to Scar House, and with the added advantage of having its own private bar, The Terrace offers an ideal venue for any private occasions, such as weddings, christenings and private dinner parties. All our food is cooked and prepared on the premises to an exceptionally high standard by our dedicated team of chefs using only the best locally sourced seasonal produce.

The Charles Bathurst Inn offers 19 award winning en-suite bedrooms*, for your guests to stay with us while enjoying your celebrations and a further 11 en-suite bedrooms* are available at our sister establishment The Punch Bowl in nearby Low Row. (*Accommodation minimum of two nights stay at a weekend)

Terms and Conditions

Wedding Reception or Dinner Party

1. A £300 deposit is required to secure the terrace room for your wedding/party.
2. We will require final numbers and guests to have pre-ordered from your chosen menu 4 weeks before the wedding. It is this final number of guests which will be charged for or the final number of guests on the day, which ever is greater.
3. If final numbers are below 40 people we reserve the right to charge a room hire charge.
4. If after this date for any reason you have to cancel your booking there will be a charge equal to 75% of the cost of your wedding.
5. Deposits are non-refundable.
6. If you require the terrace bar we charge a £50 bar set up fee.

Accommodation

1. At a weekend bedrooms are only available for a minimum of two night’s stay.
2. Guests are required to pay a £50 deposit on booking.
3. Accommodation cancelled more than a month prior to arrival – loss of deposit.
4. Accommodation cancelled one month prior to arrival will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
5. Cancellations made one week prior to arrival will incur a 75% cancellation charge.
6. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the 3pm check-in time will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
7. Any charges will be automatically deducted from the guarantee card.
